The Ladies’ Section of Chesham & Ley Hill Golf Club recently held its Annual Prize-Giving event, at which all of this year’s ‘Honours Board’ competition-Winners were presented with their Trophies by the 2019 Ladies’ Captain, Marilyn Carter.
‘The Golfer of the Year’ honour was won by Frances Miller, who was presented with a magnificent silver Salver.
Frances also won the Medal & Bogey Final Cup, and the Culverhouse Cup, together with playing partner, Marilyn Carter, who herself won the 18-Holes ‘Order of Merit Trophy’, as the most consistent player during the whole year,
The winners of the Club’s Boarded competitions were as follows:
Frances Miller won the Wellwishers Cup, Marilyn Carter won the Challenge Vase and Chris Lewis won the Scratch Cup, the Brewery Cup as well as the Good Luck Cup.
The 9-Hole ‘Order of Merit’ was won by Brenda Lewis.
The well-attended presentation was then followed by a delicious, traditional Christmas Luncheon.
